A little bit Rebel a little bit Minx, Rebel Minx is all Clarissa Jacobson and Shayna Weber.
Screenwriters, filmmakers, directors, and good pals, Clarissa and Shayna create thought-provoking, smart genre content that is unique, fun, has heart, is pro-woman AND pro-man, and is oftentimes fuckin’ irreverent.
Clarissa (heyimclarissaj.com) started as an actress, shifted into screenwriting, filmmaking and has written a book, I Made A Short Film Now WTF Do I Do With It (a guide to film festivals, promotion and surviving the ride) based on her experience with her highly successful comedy/horror short Lunch Ladies. Shayna has a background in casting, talent management and production and direction in unscripted television. Together they produced Lunch Ladies, then went on to make A Very Important Film and other content.
They’re excited to direct Nothing Scares Me which they wrote together.
